eDonkey Plugins

Plugins allow you to easily add functionality to eDonkey. Plugins can either connect to other networks or add other features such as previewing. To use any of the plugins below extract the zip files into your eDonkey plugins subdirectory (usually c:\program files\eDonkey2000\plugins).

BitTorrent v0.06d

This plugin allows you to download files from BitTorrent clients. It is bundled with all recent versions of eDonkey so you shouldn't need to download it.

This plugin makes it very simple to preview certain files. More information can be found in the readme file in the download.

FastTrack v0.10

This plugin allows you to download files from the FastTrack network.

FileVerifier v1.2.0

Allows you to check the files you're downloading against a database of file hashes.

This plugin allows you to download files from FTP servers.

This plugin allows you to download files from the Gnutella network.

MetBackup v0.1.1

This plugin backs up your .part.met files in case of a crash. More information can be found in the readme.

VirusScanner v0.1

We know that having your antivirus program scan your eDonkey temp directory is not only pointless, but wastes a lot of CPU cycles. With this plugin you can safely ignore your temp directory and have your antivirus program scan files on completion. More information can be found in the readme.
